The Golf BlueMotion.
With the new Golf BlueMotion, Volkswagen is showing just how efficient the cars of today can be. Based on the sixth generation of the best-selling car, an all-around talent has been designed which will excite both regular drivers travelling as part of their work and private users, with average fuel consumption totalling 3.8 litres (99 g/km CO2). The Golf includes a start-stop system and energy recuperation. Despite being economical, the 77 kW / 105 hp Golf BlueMotion is far from sluggish – its 250 Newton metre torque shows that it’s anything but. Technical innovations that reduce fuel consumption- Start-stop system
- Recuperation (brake energy regeneration)
- Reduced idle speed
- Multi-function display with gear recommendation
- Longer gear ratios
- Tyres optimised to reduce rolling resistance
- Model-specific floor and rear axle trims
