The Golf Estate with BlueMotion Technology.
Its predecessor already set new standards in fuel consumption in proportion to its utility and was especially popular with cost and environmentally aware companies. The magazine “Guter Rat” named it its “Auto der Vernunft 2008” (Most sensible Car 2008) mainly due to its low fuel consumption.
Now there is the new Golf Estate with BlueMotion Technology, which is well-prepared to follow up the successes of its predecessor and even go beyond them. Thanks to its completely newly developed 1.6l TDI and 1.2l TSI engines as well as additional optimisations to the chassis, wheels and aerodynamics, the new Golf Estate has achieved even better CO2 and fuel consumption values. Combined with a boot volume of 1495 litres, the Golf Estate has the best consumption/transport ratio of all-time.
This model is already available from as little as EUR 425 more than the comparable standard production model.
Technical innovations that reduce fuel consumption- Start-stop system
- Recuperation (brake energy regeneration)
- Tyres optimised to reduce rolling resistance
- Multi-function display “Plus” with gear recommendation
- Model-specific floor and rear axle trims
The Golf Estate with BlueMotion Technology is available in the “Trendline” and "Comfortline" equipment lines.
