The Touran with BlueMotion Technology.
The BlueMotionTechnology package for the Touran includes a packet of carefully coordinated measures which help to considerably reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. A partially enclosed radiator grille and a special floor trim provide better aerodynamics as well as reducing fuel consumption and consequently emissions as well. Longer transmission ratios and changes to how the engine manages turbocharger pressure, fuel injection timing and exhaust gas recirculation rate also add to the car’s overall efficiency. Special low-resistance tyres also reduce the rolling drag. This is exemplary environmentally conscious engineering – providing pure driving pleasure with 250 Newton metres of torque while reducing CO2 emissions.
