| Rear Seat EntertainmentRear Seat Entertainment from Volkswagen Individual offers rear-seat passengers multimedia entertainment at the highest level. The main components are a 7-inch TFT flat screen in the headlining (e.g. Touran) or two screens in the head restraints of the front seats (e.g. Sharan or Phaeton), a DVD player and an additional control panel on the rear centre console. This is also where the sockets for the headsets are located, so that other passengers are not disturbed, as well as a separate video and audio input to which an external source, a games console for instance, can be connected. The DVD sound can also be played over the speakers for the audio system. In order that driver and passengers can still listen to the radio when the DVD is playing, it is also possible to operate the Rear Seat Entertainment system and radio separately. |
